I love applying honey on my face for getting a soft and silky texture. I want to apply it on my body too but can't bear its stickiness so when I got The Body Shop Honeymenia Body Butter I was thrilled to apply it on my body. I'm a big fan of The Body Shop body butters and have used some different flavours of these but had never used Honeymenia before. Today I'm reviewing The Body Shop Honeymenia Body Butter after using it for more than a week. This is a permanent line of products which have replaced the Sweet Lemon range.

In the mirror of my own experience
The Body Shop Honeymenia Body Butter comes in a bright yellow wide tub packaging like The Body Shop's other body butters. Though I prefer a tube packaging for hygiene reasons but still I love its packaging. It's totally travel-friendly.
Application & Effect
I have been using this body butter for just 8-10 days. I apply it on my damp skin just after taking a shower. The texture of this butter is not so heavy like any butter which forms oily layer over skin surface; it sinks into the skin after massaging without any effort. It hydrates my skin wonderfully and leaves a silky layer on top of the skin. My body feels smooth, hydrated and soft for long hours. It doesn't give a sticky or greasy effect to my body at all. I can just see a silky and healthy shine on my skin after massaging this body butter into my skin. My skin doesn't need anything else for 24 hours after applying this body butter. Though it'll be more effective in winters and summer because during these seasons my skin needs extra moisturising and The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter will be a must have for me.
It's packed with beauty benefits of honey, cocoa seed butter, shea butter and sesamum seed oil with a heavenly floral scent.
The lovely fragrance with honey aroma stays for quite long on the skin.
It hydrates my body for a whole day.
It absorbs into the skin immediately after massaging.
It doesn't give an oily or sticky effect even in monsoon.
It totally hydrates the skin and gives a healthy sheen to the skin.
Doesn't break me out.
The tub packaging, I wish this body butter would come in a tube packaging too.
The strong smell may be a con for sensitive noses.
A bit expensive, though can be bought during TBS sale period.
Overall it's totally a winner product from The Body Shop. Highly nourishing, moisturising with a wonderful fragrance! I mean, the fragrance is no less than that of a light perfume, so that gives you another reason to buy it! A must have for those with dry skin!
