Unwanted sweat is the main concern in summers & humid monsoons. Most of us cannot live without deos & anti-perspirants during this season because we desperately need something that can keep us fresh all day & prevent any kind of foul smell generated by sweat.
Well, today I’m going to review the Sweatnil Anti-Perspirant Roll On from Ethicare (Ethinext). Read on to find out if this product can prove what it claims!
What company says…
Sweatnil gel is formulated with Aluminium Chlorohydrate which when applied locally, effectively helps to control excessive perspiration.
In the mirror of my own experience
Inside the light blue cover of this product, you will find a short & stump roll on bottle. Just remove the cap to uncover the roll on. The cap should be immediately put on after use for hygiene purpose. The packaging simple & travel-friendly.
The texture is not exactly gel-like, it’s slightly runny & takes a few minutes to dry off after application. It has a mild fragrance with a cooling effect on the skin. The scent will not linger around for long but as it prevents sweating, it will keep away foul smell for a few hours.
Application & Effect
I’ve never felt the need of putting on a roll-on or deo religiously because I do not sweat much. The weather in the valley is also a reason. However the months of June-August are the time of the year when using a deo or some kind of anti perspirant is a must, especially for those who sweat a lot.
As I had mentioned in my previous post introducing the Ethicare Remedies products that they are suitable for the monsoon season & this antiperspirant gel roll on is no different. I have tried this a number of times, especially after a morning bath. I apply it on my dry underarms by rolling it over a few times. It does not irritate the skin at all, nor does it leave any stains like many deos & roll ons do. The fragrance is very mild & pretty refreshing which does not linger around for long. Incessant & unexpected rains are very common in Dehradun & on such days it controls my sweat for around 3 hours which is pretty good if not the best. I would say that I’m quite impressed with this product. It is travel friendly as well so you can slip it in your bag & use it a couple of times throughout the day.
Does not irritate the skin
Lasting power is fine
Reasonable price tag.
The lasting power could have been better
Finally I’m totally impressed with this antiperspirant roll-on. If you are looking for an antiperspirant roll on, you should definitely try this one. It gives good results, controls sweat to an extent & feels gentle on the skin. The price is pretty reasonable, so I will recommend this to all my readers!
