The Body Shop always keeps coming up with something new. This time, they have come up with The Body Shop Virgin Mojito range with a refreshing splash of lime. This collection brings in an air of summer in the chilly autumn/winter months. The range includes a body butter, a body sorbet, shower gel, body scrub & body wash. Today I’m going to review the Virgin Mojito Body Sorbet.

 What company says…

‘Light and frosty body moisturiser with lime and mint extracts from the Caribbean’

‘Scoop up our lightest, refreshing Limited Edition Virgin Mojito Body Sorbet to quench your skin with moisture. Our crisp sorbet texture instantly melts into skin for a frosty burst of fresh moisture.’

Glide onto skin and enjoy the frosted moisture sensation all over your body. Insider’s tip: Put your Body Sorbet in the fridge for an even more refreshing moisture sensation

Packaging

The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Sorbet comes in a simple, lime green coloured tube packaging, similar to the other body sorbets(except for the colour & graphic). The tube has a lime and mint spring motif and a flip cap. The packaging is simple but cute. It’s perfect for travelling. I also love its tube packaging because it’s hygienic in use.

Smell and Texture

When I saw Virgin Mojito range I was entirely sure that the Body Sorbet will be my favorite product from the range. It smells phenomenal so refreshing that makes my mind pleasant. It’s just like a mixture of lime and mint. I absolutely love the texture of the body sorbet. It’s creamy and frosty. Neither thick nor runny, it’s something in between of a body butter and lotion.

Application & Effect

I kept the body sorbet in my refrigerator as the company suggests (though the weather is changing quite a lot and the icy feeling is unbearable) & it felt so cool and delightful. Anyways, without refrigerating it also feels pleasant on the skin. It spreads easily and I love how quickly it absorbs into the skin giving it a soft and silky touch instantly. I have been using the body sorbet for more than 15 days and I love the effect it has given to my skin. My skin looks soft and supple without much effort. I can’t wait to use this body sorbet in summer because it’s just perfect for hot weather. I have kept it in the refrigerator and started to apply The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body butter now. I’ll write about my experience with the body butter soon.
