Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise Review

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise Review

Hey everyone,

Your eyes are the most beautiful feature God has given you,but the most delicate part too. Usually, women suffer from dark circle and puffiness. Mine is the latter one. Due to the sleeplessness, I always get my eyes puffy and tired. I have been using several eye creams from different brands. I found some of them quite effective. One of those eye creams is Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise. I bought this eye cream because I am a fan of this luxury brand. I have used some products of this brand and love them. Today, I’m with Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise to share my experience with you.

What company says…

A light yet deeply intensive cream for the delicate area around the eyes. Its extracts include Anise which reduces fine lines, moisturizes and tones the skin in Ayurvedic texts, and includes pure vitamin A and E extracts which assist in the elimination of fine lines and free radicals while firming and toning the under-eye area.

In the mirror of my own experience

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise Review

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream comes in a luxurious packaging. The small pot of the eye cream comes packed in a brown light brown cardboard box with Forest Essentials logo. Inside the box, we get a beautiful glass jar with a golden screw cap and a spill proof lid. The packaging is beautiful and luxurious. It’s safe for traveling with because the jar is completely secure in the box and can be carried along anywhere easily. The only thing that I don’t like in the packaging is its tub packaging. A tube packaging would be more hygienic and safe.

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise Review

The cream is milky white in color with a lotion like consistency. It has no fragrance at all and this reconfirms the fact that its 100% natural. The texture is smooth and light weight. It spreads evenly on the eye area and feels soft and light. Just a little quantity is required to cover both the eyes. I use my ring finger for applying the cream. I dip the finger and take a tiny amount of the product. I put the cream in tiny dots on the eye area and then pat it with my finger gently. The cream doesn’t get absorbed immediately and needs to be massaged for at least 1-2 minutes to get absorbed completely into the skin. My eyes love this massage and get relaxed. I apply it at night before going to bed.

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream With Anise Review

I noticed the effect of this cream just after a week of use. I saw a clear reduction in the puffiness of my eyes. It makes my under eyes soft and supple. After using it for a month continuously, I noticed that it made my fine lines appear less noticeable. This cream made my skin look soft and brighter. My under eye area looks hydrated, moisturized,  more toned and younger.  As I don’t have any dark circle so I can’t comment about its effect on dark circles.  The formula is enriched with natural ingredients like Almond OilOlive Oil, Potato Starch etc. that nourishes, rejuvenates and  make the under eye area look brighter  and healthier. If you see it in an anti-aging aspect, I think it doesn’t do much, yes my eye areas look smoother, brighter and moisturized but I didn’t notice any clear difference with my fine lines and wrinkles as I noticed after using the Botani Rescue Eye Treatment. So you can’t say it as a good eye cream for anti aging but in view of other aspects, it’s a good eye cream.

Finally…

Overall, I find this cream as an effective product. It helps to soothe, nourish and protect your eye area. It hydrates the skin around eyes and reduces the puffiness. I can’t say what it does with the dark circles as I have not any. But it is one of the best eye creams I’ve ever used, as it delivers what it promises. In reducing the wrinkles and fine lines, I think this cream is working relatively slow as I didn’t see any noticeable difference on this part.

If you’re looking for a product to soothe, nourish and protect your eye area, this one does it. It is a bit on the higher end of price side but the effect and results have made it a must have product!

I have tried out this eye cream and I was a little disappointed with it because it did not do anything for my dark Circles…It certainly reduced the puffiness but I wanted it to reduce the dark Circles which it didn’t.

While the tub packaging is not ideal, everything else about this cream sounds amazing! I struggle with both dark circles and puffiness, so I would love to test out this cream and see if both claims hold true.
