We need some extra care of our skin for the coming season so of course we have to change our skincare products according to our skin.  The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream cleanser comes in a baby pink bottle with a black flip open cap. The bottle exclusive to The Body Shop Vitamin E range has all important information about the product printed on it. The flip open cap is very helpful to control the amount of the product while using. It shuts tightly so there is no fear of the product spilling out the product while traveling. The Body Shop has changed its packaging recently and added a flip open cap which is a good change. The packaging is beautiful and totally travel friendly.

The cleanser is white in color and has a lovely smell. The smell is mild and pleasant. The consistency of the product is neither too thick nor too runny. It is more like a thick lotion.

The texture is creamy and spreads out on the skin very well. A small amount is needed to cover the whole face and neck. Cleansers is a very important part of my skincare routine. I cleanse, tone and moisturise my skin daily before going to bed. I apply this cleanser by massaging my face and neck gently for 2-3 minutes. I remove it with a moist cotton ball. It hydrates my skin properly. I never feel any dryness after using it. It feels so light on the skin and doesn’t feel greasy even if you use it in summer or monsoon. With The Body Shop Vitamin E Toner and The Body Shop Vitamin E Emulsion it works amazingly for day times.

Now coming to another part of this cleanser and testing it as a makeup remover. Usually,  I use olive oil to remove my makeup by massaging my skin well. Then use a mild face wash and finally I apply the cleanser. I never use a cleanser directly as a makeup remover. However, to test this,  I tried using this as ones. I found that it removed my makeup perfectly. However, it was not as effective with waterproof eye makeup. So if you use it as a makeup remover you need an eye makeup remover to remove the stubborn eye makeup. It is a mild cleanser so I can’t expect more than what it does. It has some great natural ingredients in it that are great for rejuvenating the skin. It’s not a new product for me, have finished many bottles of this cleaner. It give a nice effect to my skin. I feel my skin soft supple and hydrated with it. For me, it’s a perfect skin cleanser. But it can be used by all skin types. However If you have super oily skin, you should avoid using it in summer.
