Best Way to Wear Bright Colours

It often happens that we see some lovely bright colours clothes in the showroom and buy them immediately without thinking twice. After some time, we feel it’s too dark for going out and slightly unfit for our age. Then we keep them safely in our wardrobe’s last section and decide to wear them only on special occasions. That occasion never comes often and such clothes lie in wait in our wardrobe, unworn.

I have committed this mistake many times and one day I found several bright colour clothes at the back of a drawer of my wardrobe. Some of them were quite expensive and I regretted my ignorance.

Actually, I’m not a bright colours’ lover in my real life. Mostly wear white, black, blue, brown and pastels. But it’s not that I never wear bright colour outfits. I do it occasionally and whenever I have, I got a lot of compliments from others. I am always advised to wear bright colours more often.

After that, I started to wear those bright clothes in such manners that they look decent and trendy at the same time.

The truth is that all colours are beautiful and have their unique appeal. The only thing we should remember is to wear all colours confidently and in style. Never fear to experiment with bright colours. Sometimes your unique experiment can do wonders for your demeanour!

Personally, I don’t feel hesitation in experiments with colours. Some ideas that I love to do while wearing bright colours are should be useful for those who love wearing bright colours outfits.

Mix with neutral colours

Whenever you think to wear some bright dresses it would be better to pair them with neutral colours like white, off-white,ivory. For example, if you are thinking to wear a fuchsia skirt then you should pair it up with a black, white top. With it, you should wear some light jewellery and black heels. Finally, to finish your look you must have a white or silver bag. At the same time if you have bought a vibrant coloured bag then pair it with a neutral coloured dress. Your eye makeup should be light but you can wear deep eye-catching Lipstick with such outfits.

Pair with dark shades

I love wearing bright colour with a dark shade. This method gives a bold and classic look. If you are going to wear a bright yellow pencil dress. A deep blue or black jacket will give your dress a classical elegance. With some light stone jewellery, a brown bag and heels will make this look stunning.

Sometimes the combination of shades works better than a single bright colour. It looks trendy and allows you to go for more than one shade of accessories. For a dress with yellow, green and orange, you can easily opt for any shade of jewellery or other accessories.

Colourful accessories

If you are still sceptical about wearing bright clothes, just go for colourful accessories. A bright pink necklace can bring a beautiful dash of colour to your white top-blue jeans outfit! Quirky accessories like patterned belts, earrings, bags or even colourful scarves can add to the colour factor of your outfit. At times, you can even experiment with colourful footwear. Match them with your lip colour and you are ready to go!

Coming to my outfit:

Talking of colors, my today’s outfit features this bright and beautiful anarkali kurti that I bought almost an year back. This has got to be the brightest shade of pink I own in my closet! I spotted it at Max Fashion and I was really attracted towards the combination of yellow and fuchsia pink along with the traditional Rajasthani/Gujrati touch this kurti had. Now, when after an year, I finally did wear it, I paired it with a pair of yellow leggings and yellow dupatta. The kurti is so beautiful thanks to the colourful details and the right amount of flare. This outfit was totally me stepping out of my comfort zone but I’m glad how it turned out. What do you think?

These are terrific tips for wearing bright shades! I most enjoy wearing vibrant hues when it’s dreary and cold as a pick me up.

My dear Rakhshanda, I know what you mean – but fortunately I wear often bright colours 🙂 And although you are not in general a fan of bright colours it is fact that you look fantastic in them! Enjoy the rest of this week!

Your bright fuchsia anarkali kurti is gorgeous!
I love the beautiful ornamentation on the bodice and sleeves, and the tiered design and feminine colour of the skirt – it is extremely pretty!
