Vichy Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Light Cream Review, Photos & Details
Winter always comes with little uneasiness for dry skinned people and if you are living in a valley like me then the concern will increase. The weather is freezing here these days. The winds blowing here are bone chilling. The condition becomes worse when it rains. You can’t save your skin from redness, and dry patches if you ignore the symptoms even a little bit. I always buy my skincare products by keeping this fact in mind so I don’t have to face any skin problems. You would have read my post from a few months before regarding my skin care products shopping haul. I had bought Vichy Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Light Cream for using in such condition. My review today is about this cream from Vichy so let’s get down to some initial details about this product!
What company says…
For women with the visible signs of sensitive, dehydrated, normal to combination skin who want long-lasting soothing hydration.
Enriched with Vichy Thermal Spa Water and Hyaluronic Acid, Aqualia Thermal Light provides continuous hydration, for up to 48 hours intense comfort and protection against daily aggressions.
In the mirror of my own experience
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Light Cream comes in a beautiful blue jar. The jar is made of glass and comes with a cap having a mirror on the top. The jar looks beautiful and luxurious. You get all the details about the product on the outer paper box it comes in.
The cream is white in colour and has a mild smell. The texture is creamy and smooth. It’s lightweight and slightly gel-like. It spreads on the skin beautifully. I need just a little amount to cover my whole face and neck. It gets absorbed into the skin effortlessly just in a few strokes. It moisturizes the skin instantly very well. When you apply this cream you will get to know how it moisturizes your skin perfectly. When I was going to buy it, I was a bit doubtful if it will work on my dry skin or not. But I pleasantly surprised how moisturising is it. I can see an instant radiance on my skin just after applying it.
Coming to the effect, I have been using this cream for about 2 months and it’s now almost finished. Mostly I use it as a day cream but sometimes at night too. I would say that it has given all positive effect on my skin. Yes, I can see the difference clearly. My skin looks supple and smooth even in such dry and chilly weather.
I have been using it along with the Vichy serum and I think it’s the best way to see its real effect. It hydrates the skin very long. I apply it in the morning and it lasts until night. So it keeps my skin moisturized almost the entire day. It’s quite close to the brand’s claim but not exactly 48 hours. It feels so light on the skin and hydrates it without making it oily. I love my skin’s soft and velvety texture these days. The only downside of this cream is its high price and the tub packaging. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful product from Vichy.
Beautiful packaging though not hygeinic and travel friendly
Light and creamy texture
Small amount is needed
Makes the skin soft and silky
Gives an instant glow just after application
Never makes the skin dry or breaks me out
Never makes my skin oily and greasy
An ideal cream for normal, combination and dry skinned people. I am really impressed with the result I got from this cream. Using it, I’ve achieved a soft, supple and silky skin texture that I love. No need to say that I’m going to order another one very soon as I have almost finished it. I wish it would come in a tube packaging and also with a bit less price! Considering the quantity, I would say it’s a bit costly. Anyways, at the moment, I am loving this cream as it’s working really great for me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
INR 1500 for 50 gm
