Kurti with jeans
The the most popular idea to wear indo-western wear. This easy mixture of clothes gives you a fresh and different look. Kurties look as beautiful with jeans as with leggings, salwar, palazzo and churidar. It also looks innovative and smart. Sometimes wearing tees or short tops feel uncomfortable if you don’t have a good physique but with kurties, these flaws are covered perfectly and you feel free. You don’t need to add a scarf with it. As Indian kurties are comfortable to wear even in all seasons that is the reason women in every age love to wear them with jeans. This is my most favourite outfit in real life. You can see me in this attire most of the time. Most of the all there is no bondage to wear any particular size, you can wear shortest to longest all size kurti with jeans. No regulation with the jeans too, skinny to boyfriend, every kind of jeans can be worn with kurties.
Saree with top or blazer
It’s not a new idea, you must have seen such style with saree in the 60s and 70s Bollywood movies. Remember how beautiful Vajentimala and Waheeda Rehman looked in saree with a white or pink blazer with wing eyeliner and bun. Nowadays that style has come back with some new fresh changes which I love. You can wear any of your tops from crop to long from fit to lose. Each top adds a twist to the saree look. In winter you can make this style more pretty with your short, long blazers or coats.
Wear ponchos or crop top with lehnga skirt
Style your long skirt or Palazzo in a new way. Pair it with a crop top or poncho with some embroidery and give your outfit a modern touch. This will be a beautiful fusion of western and ethnic wear. With some light jewellery, you can attend any party and function in such indo-western outfit. Instead of this, you can pair a fit drape with some embroidery work on it with your plain skirt or lehnga. Believe me, it will look charismatic!
Wear Anarkali kurta with a leather jacket
If you are going to wear your cotton Anarkali kurta and are bored with the same style, make some changes. This time when you wear your long Anarkali kurta put a coloured leather jacket with it. You can wear your black one also and give a contemporary touch to your look.
Wear your Anarkali dress alone
This is such modish idea to wear your printed Anarkali kurta. If you have a plain without border or printed Anarkali kurta, wear that alone sometimes. for adding some modern touch wear a delicate belt on the waist. For a classier look carry a stylish clutch and let your look do the talking!
Wear saree with Bikini blouse
If you are comfortable with bikini blouses, wear it with saree. You must have seen this trend in Bollywood movies by leading actresses. This is a beautiful manner to turn your simple plain saree into a glamorous number!
Coming to my outfit:
One fine day I went shopping and ended up buying this beautiful ethnic skirt. So, I decided to wear it with a plain white tshirt for an Indo western effect. Well this is how it turned out and I guess the skirt is such a statement in itself, the white tshirt looks fine with it. So, this is one of the numerous ways you can wear an Indo western outfit.
