Fashion trends come and go but there are some styles of clothing that will always be a staple in our closet. Flare jeans, pants and trousers are also one of them. The trend had come in about 60s-70s but was still prevailing in the midst in various styles. Finally, the trend from the ’70s made a comeback in 2016, which was obvious in a big denim trend: jeans that were both cropped and flared out. In 2017, the frayed hems trend came back into style. Jeans were more undone than usual. After that, these flares became so popular and we saw a lot of different shapes in this style, Flare jeans, wide-legged pants, trousers, palazzo and more.
Many of the Spring/Summer runway shows gave a nod to this style. We saw a lot of classic ’70s trends making a comeback such as chic button-front A-line skirts, suede clothing, fringed bags, collared cropped jackets and, our favorite, flared pants. If you are also an admirer of this trend like me, embrace it and pay tribute to this 70s-era style. Trust me, you are gonna be a real street style star if you will give a try to these elegant and smart trousers. Like it or not, but flares are official in all the rage. I think you really should give them a try. There are several reasons to try these bottoms. They will elongate your silhouette and make you look taller. These flared pants are extremely flattering. Don’t you admire a person with flares when you see in the street? There are various ideas to create a perfect look completed with flared pants.
Start With Bootcut Jeans
If you think you are not comfortable with full-fledged flares, try a pair of bootcut jeans first. Top your jeans with a tucked-in blouse and blazer. Once you’re comfortable with bootcut hems, feel free to take things to the next level with some wide-leg pants.
Pair Your Flares With Plain Tops
Pair your denim flare jeans or stripes flare pants with a plain top. You can pick a simple white or any other color tee. Choose a plain top with perforated details and tuck in it. Finish your outfit with a pair of comfortable sneakers. No need to adopt anything else, it will be a perfect street style for the women of any random age.
Style Denim Shirt With flared trousers
Try patchwork flared trousers with a denim blouse or shirt. A tucked-in denim blouse with a pair of printed or patchwork flared trouser will give you a cool style. Finish this look with a fringed shoulder bag.
Pair Your Dark Flared Trouser With A Silk Top
To get a party look, select a dark pair of flared trousers and style it with a fancy satin top. You can pick a silk blouse with some delicate embroidery on the neck or sleeves. Finish your outfit with a pair of gold or diamond earrings and bracelet. A small handbag or clutch will complete your party look.

Yes flares are fun. They keep trying to bring back the super flares but they don’t really take hold. I think it is b/c they are too difficult to wear and get in they way.
