Hey everyone,
How are you all? Thought I would just update you all with what I’m upto these days living in isolation. Life can get monotonous as well as crazy at times at home so it’s really important we keep ourselves engaged to maintain positivity and our sanity.

1) Try planning your day
Plan a new life routine because times are different now. So it’s like a new kind of life. Jot down your daily hobbies and plan some more. Planning your routine in a different style will surely bring a change in your life and make life less monotonous. It will also help in increasing productivity throughout the day.
2) Cooking
I have always loved cooking! But spending everyday 24 hours in the house, thinking about what to make 3 times a day can be a challenge. So, I have decided to try a new recipe at least once every week. Cooking is such a great way to be creative and staying in quarantine has given us a chance to try making those dishes that we would probably have just ordered. There are so many amazing and easy recipes all over Youtube, my recommendations are flooded with all kinds of videos. I have been sharing some of my creations on Tiktok and Instagram, so check them out

3) Gardening
I feel so grateful to have a lovely garden to look after and roam in because it is the only kind of outdoor we can get during these days. It has brought me so much closer to nature and made me appreciate the beauty of plants more than ever. How lovely is the sight of beautiful birds and squirrels playing around! The weather is still quite spring-like in my city which is a perfect time to see your garden in full bloom. Even if you don’t have a garden, don’t miss out on planting flower pots and indoor plants in and around your house. Trust me, they make life so blissful!

4) Netflix and books
Of course, my day ends with an episode or two. I’m currently watching You Season 2 and I’m absolutely hooked. I’m also trying to find time to read more books.
I think I will watch Little Fires Everywhere next because I’ve heard great things about it, not sure if it’s on Netflix though. What all are you binge watching these days, please leave some recommendations in the comments below.

Coming to my outfit-
Whenever I find time, I shoot for some fashion and beauty content. The other day, I styled a simple spring/summer outfit wearing some of the new things I had ordered before the lockdown. I wore a lovely blush pink shirt blouse with blue denims. This is such a comfortable high waisted mom jeans kind of style with a slit at the knee. You can dress up this outfit with some beautiful accessories and heels. I went for these comfortable white trainers that I’ve already worn so many times and love! What do you think about this outfit? Can’t wait to wear this out of the house whenever it’s safe to.
So, apart from the household chores, this is how I’m spending my life in quarantine. What about you? How are you coping in these unprecedented times?

Finding different ways to while away the hours can be a challenge but it sounds like you’ve hit upon a good balance of different activities. I’m also trying to cook a new recipe each week to mix things up and getting back into hand lettering again has been a nice distraction.

Yes it can get a bit crazy and boring. I have been wanting to put myself on a schedule since the new year that was a resolution of mine I have yet to do LOL. And I want to try my hand at baking bread before it gets to warm.

And I like to keep a schedule during quarantine, too- it’s so helpful!
