It’s not important what your age is, the important thing is that how you live your life! Every part of your age comes with different colors and all colors are beautiful if you feel and perceive them in a positive way. Our childhood’s a dreamy age, when we are free from all concerns of life, then teenage is full of gorgeous dreams and ambitions, youth is about having a desired career, a lovely life partner, then middle age is the time of sweet responsibilities of your kids and married life, dreams of providing your kids the best career.
Finally comes the old age when you are free from all your resposibilies of life, a lovely time when you have retired from your job but not from your desires, this the best time to do something you always wanted to do. However, it often happens that, after late 50s, people consider themselves old and bored. They start worrying about the financial situation of their children and grandchildren. They feel hesitant to spend their money on their comfort and health. They often feel that their time is over but it’s not true.
The truth is that the age is just a number, doesn’t matter what is it, the real difference is what you think about yourself, do you still feel that you are young and enthusiastic from inside? Do you feel healthy and active? Then why hesitate to enjoy your life? You should stop worrying about your children, You have done what you could do for them, you have taken enough care of them for so many years, provided them with education, shelter, support everything, now it’s your time to live your life gracefully.
Live life with a purpose
Aging gracefully means you need to treat yourself well both mentally and physically. Living a life fill with purpose is bound to make you happy and satisfied. Without a purpose, life becomes boring and dull. Aging is a natural process but living a life without any purpose, makes you old and ill before time. If you are retired and have become free from all your work related responsibility, look around you, there are many things to do, there are several people in society who need you. The only thing is that what you choose for yourself. You can join any organization, that works for humanity, start teaching such children who are unable to take paid tuitions. Take responsibility of someone’s education. Try to make someone smile with your effort. Make friends, explore new places, use social media, you can feel how beautiful your life is at this age. Get out of your comfort zone, be curious and open to exploring the unknown and challenge yourself everyday.
Learn something new
Sometimes we act stubbornly, we often think that our learning age is behind us now, we have learned enough but it’s not the reality. The truth is that there is no age for learning and there is no limit to learn. There are countless things we don’t have knowledge about. We should learn from the people around us, even from children. Be curious about new technology, try to learn, try to do things you never do. As far as I’m concerned, I always try to learn new things from my juniors, for example, I never found myself comfortable in making video especially a video where I have to speak about something, but when I decided to make my YouTube videos seriously, I found that I am becoming comfortable with my voice and style. I found so many appreciations regarding my voice and it makes me more confident. I’m loving the platform now!
Something about my outfit:
I’m with a new outfit after a long time but will try to continue my Monday routine on the blog. This is an outfit which will be perfect for a sunny day in winter. I’m wearing this lovely floral top and jeans and layered this with a camel color cardigan which I recently bought from Urbanic. Finished this look with a pair of boots and silver hoops. This is an outfit that can be worn any day for shopping or just out and about. What do you think?
