It’s pretty simple to style any clothing for the first time but challenging enough when it comes to styling them again and again. There are lots of pieces in our closet that we love wearing every now & then. In this world of selfies, social media etc women often avoid wearing the same dress or clothing in a similar way more than once. I am no exception. But gradually, I’m learning the art of recycling clothes by styling them differently each time. The easiest way is to change the accessories like the shoes, bag etc.
When it comes to versatile clothing, dresses are the first thing that I think of. They can be worn alone, as a skirt or even as a jumper. But for that, they need to be of appropriate shape & fit. In today’s outfit, I have worn a midi pencil dress as a skirt by putting on a blouse over it. The dress is a white one with blue details around the waist. It is a bodycon midi dress which may feel uncomfortable at times due to the fitting. So I decided to pair it with a burgundy shirt style blouse. The blouse has beautiful golden details and ruffles. I think it went really well with the white dress. The length of the blouse is just perfect and makes the dress look like a gorgeous pencil skirt. As the shirt is a bit sheer you can make out the dress underneath. I felt this was a good way to wear the same dress in a different way. What do you think?
