If your week has been stressful and tiring for you or your weekly plans were not accomplished you tend to become very frustrated. Whether you’re an office person or a full-time blogger, you’ll find yourself facing these situations often. As a fashion blogger, things sometimes become very hectic for me.
Earlier, I used to struggle so much these things; heck, I still do. Whenever things don’t happen as planned, I used to go in panic mode. In today’s life, a woman has a lot of responsibilities, be it home or office. Both need your full attention and you need to do it well within time boundaries. But often all your meticulous planning and management go out the window when something unexpected happens in your life. Small things like an arrival of an unexpected guest, a family member falling ill or some extra work getting assigned to you in office when you were just getting ready to leave.
Despite all this we should never let frustration conquer our minds. Frustration saps your ability to be happy. So if you want to stay refreshed throughout you have to ready yourself for the next day and keep your mind fit for the obstacles that might be thrown at you.
Feel good and look good.
Whether you’re a blogger or a working lady you know well that you have to look presentable every minute. You can’t ignore this fact. A tired looking and dull personality can’t inspire others. And if you’ll not feel good from the inside it reflects on your look. So you have to refresh yourself from inside. Here are some habits that I often indulge in in such conditions to recharge myself and increase my energy level.
Take a long bath
Nothing relaxes you like a long, hot bath. Fill your bath, surround the tub with candles, put on the most relaxing music you can find. Soak your body in warm and scented water and close your eyes. Forget all stresses you have to bear, just think of something good, something that bring a smile to your lips. Our mind is full of memories, some good and some bad. You need to bring out the memories that make you happy. A smile that comes to your lips at such times rejuvenate you completely. By the time you step out you’re bound to feel happy and stress-free.
Visit a salon
It’s a great way to pamper yourself and release stress at the same time. I don’t visit a salon on regular basis but whenever I feel tired and low, I book some services in my favorite salon like body massage, hair spa, hot oil massage, manicure and especially pedicure. These things work wonders on me and I feel totally relaxed and tension free. This way I get to take care of my skin, hair and feel light and relaxed at the same time.
No time to visit a salon? Nowadays many salons provide home services that save your time as well and you shouldn’t hesitate to take advantage of these services.
Shopping can lift your mood instantly. I love to hit the stores with my family and sisters. The atmosphere of a mall, music, lights never fails to lighten my mood and heart. And it isn’t even necessary to empty your accounts.; you can check out the different new fashion trends or spend some time trying on the fanciest outfits that you haven’t worn in a while. Only buy the things you actually need. Nothing spoils you night faster than a bad purchase, believe me.
After shopping (or window shopping *wink*), go to your favorite restaurant for a delicious dinner. You’ll end your day on a high and positive note.
Chat with friends
It’s an amazing way to relax yourself and spend some feel-good time. I do it often. Make a cup of tea and ring your best friend or family member that you haven’t talked to in a long time. Choose a cozy spot to sit, like your garden or lawn. I chat with my sisters and we can talk for hours; it’s always so relaxing for me. Talking to someone you love always makes you happy from inside. Never let your talk go in a tense direction though; talk about some happy moments, gossip and talk openly. It’s a magical way to change your mood and free yourself from tension and stress.
Coming to my outfit
It’s a casual outfit which always give comfort to everyone. I love wearing a coral/peach blouse and jeans with flats. The blouse is very comfortable and looks stylish. The lace details on the front make it more pretty. I kept my makeup minimal, accessorized my look with just a bracelet, my favorite mirror sun glasses and a floral bag, and slipped into my favorite pair of flats to finish off the look.
