Rouge Bunny Rouge always come up with something fabulous and innovative makeup products. This season they have launched two new products Rouge Bunny Rouge Natural Defining & contouring liquid and Rouge Bunny Rouge Light Corrective Eye Primer that could prove key products for makeup lovers. The Shadow Play which comes in one universal shade. You can conceal, enhance or spark your imagination with this product. Though I haven’t been a much contouring kinda person and to be honest, I’m not very talented in this area and don’t care much about this part.I have been using powder contour till now and find it quite easy but this versatile product made me excited to try and play with it.

The texture offers a beautiful sensorial experience, too: Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid glides effortlessly across your skin and dries to a very natural, light, non-sticky finish.
Coverage is sheer. Once dry it is very long-lasting.
In the mirror of my own experience
Rouge Bunny Rouge Natural Defining & contouring liquid comes in a black tube with a similar colour cap. The tube has the similar colour floral pattern and decorated with RBR Neo-Victorian vibe. The tube is safely packed with a black outer case with lovely self-pattern. The product currently comes only one colour and it’s light-medium matte umber with rose undertone. It’s a great colour for contouring and defining but only for fair skin people. I hope they will come up soon with some darker shades too.
When you open the cap you find a round shaped sponge applicator on the tip of the tube for defining the area you want to do. The sponge tip is not removable. The tube has a unique ON and OFF mechanism. You have to twist the upper part of the tube and you will see the liquid coming out to the sponge. Now you can turn the tube in off mode and seal it. The tube is very handy and it’s so easy to control the amount of product. You just remember that whenever the tube is in On mode, you have to squeeze it gently so that you can get the required amount.
I use the applicator direct on my face. After squeezing the required product I turn the tube in OFF mode and then start contouring. I blend the edges with a brush. All these procedures are so easy and effortless that I never expected. It can be applied with a beauty blender too if you are not comfortable with the applicator.
If I talk about the shade, I must say that the shade 070 which is umber with vintage rose undertones and subtle silky-matt finish is perfect for my skin tone. If you have fair or medium skin tone, it will work perfectly.
The consistency is liquidy but not watery at all. It glides on the skin effortlessly and dries down into a soft matte finish but you have enough time to blend it. If you think the colour is sheer you can build up layers for more intensity. It’s all up to you what kind of finish do you want. For me, it’s fine as I’m not very fond of defining dramatically. I love natural kind of contouring so just one layer is enough for me.
I didn’t notice any stickiness or transfer at all. Once it dries is non-sticky and feels very light. I apply it on the top of my foundation like usually, you do. Once it dries out it’s very long lasting. You are free for the entire day!
