Rouge Bunny Rouge Collector’s Coffret Review

Hey guys,

If you are a perfume lover and love some distinctive and special kinds of fragrance that can make you stand out in the crowd, you will be glad to read my today’s post. My today’s review is all about Rouge Bunny Rouge Collector’s Coffret Travel-Size Perfumes Gift Set which the luxury brand has launched recently. Rouge Bunny Rouge Collector’s Coffret is a new and limited edition release available in two variations. RBR Collector’s Coffret is available as a travel-size collectible trio in Fragrant Confections or Provenance Tales. Each set includes three small sizes eau de parfums.

The best thing is that these perfumes come in medium-sized bottles. Usually we find just 2ml sized perfume bottles in a traveling set but these are decently larger 15ml bottles that I love.

What company says…

Our COLLECTOR’S COFFRET FRAGRANT CONFECTIONS includes three exciting masterpieces from the RBR fine fragrances collection. The signature design of the FRAGRANT CONFECTIONS collection has been translated into lovely, elongated miniature flacons, each embellished with the fragrance’s unique symbols. The crisp combination of clear glass and bright silver mirror the FRAGRANT CONFECTIONS’ overall theme of lightsome delight. The sturdy cases are made to look like gift boxes. Our designers drew their inspiration from the luxurious ink jars and beautifully packaged writing instruments, popular in Victorian times.

In the mirror of my own experience

The trio collection comes in a gorgeous white box which contains all the details regarding the collection. It’s basically a gift box in which all three bottles are kept securely. This box itself is so alluring, you’ll never want to throw it away!

The 3 fragrances, Chatoyant, Vespers & Tenera, come in a beautiful mini size packaging(15 ml each). The glass bottles with metallic caps have exquisite floral designs, each different from the other. These kinds of designs are a trademark of Rouge Bunny Rouge and their packaging is something I’ve always adored. The bottles are sturdy and travel-friendly. I prefer keeping them back inside the box after each use. The packaging is very attractive!

Coming on to what this collection has to offer, I’ll start with my favourite one out of the three.
Vespers

Even though I’m not much of a perfume girl, I personally prefer fruity and floral scents. However, Vespers is a total exception. It’s intense spicy top notes mixed with the floral middle notes make this perfume unlike any I’ve ever tried. This woody spicy floral fragrance had me head over heels in love with it at first sniff! I usually wear it on special occasions, not so much during daytime as it is quite strong.
Top notes: Bergamot, Cinnamon Bark, Violet Leaves, Black Pepper
Heart: Green Apple, Lily of the Valley, Rose, Violet
Base: Cedarwood, Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla
Chatoyant

Out of the three, Chatoyant can be your day fragrance, thanks to its oriental floral fragrance fused with notes of citrus. It has a very pleasant scent that is bound to make heads turn! Each time I wear it, a few compliments are ensured. This too lasts for an entire day and perhaps longer. Again, Chatoyant is not your usual floral scent, it is opulent and unique.
Top notes: Bergamot, Lemon
Heart: Orchid, Jasmine, Rose, Lily of the Valley
Base: Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Musk, Vanilla
Tenera

Coming onto the third member of this trio, a single sniff of Tenera will make you realise that this is the perfect winter night fragrance. Strong, woody with undernotes of pepper and rum, Tenera makes me feel plushy and mysterious. I’m saving this for the winter months as I feel that will be the most suitable time to wear this perfume.
Strong and long-lasting, Tenera is also very different from other woody oriental scents I’ve come across.
Top notes: Black Pepper, Elemi, Thyme Flower, Rose Wood
Heart: Rum, Guaiac Wood, Patchouli, Heliotrope
Base: Vanilla Pod, Benzoin, Amber, Leather

Finally…

I’m no expert at describing perfumes but this is the best I could to describe how exotic and plush this fragrance trio is. Once again, Rouge Bunny Rouge proved to be a total winner. I’ve read such great things about their fragrances and I’m so delighted that finally I got a chance to try some decent size samples. If you wish to invest in some high quality fragrances, this travel-size trio is totally for you! Highly recommended to all, it’s worth every penny!
