My Aim Is To Make Myself Better
People have different personalities which they can enhance by doing good deeds and making a better of themselves. Those who really want to polish themselves to test their limits can only do so by being determined otherwise if a person who just takes these words from one ear and blows it out from the other will never be able to improve as he will never try.
Every person has his or her own nature accompanied by some good and bad habits. There are many kinds of people but mainly of two types- the ones who know that they are wrong but never try to get better and keep going down and the ones who, although, slip to the wrong path but try to get better and find the correct way. I am also one of them, I also have had some bad habits since childhood but I always try to make myself better and I think we all should do it each day. There are different ways to do it. It’s not necessary that the way I find useful, works for you too. We all have to find or try to find ideas that work for us. The best idea is to think deeply, read other’s suggestions with an open mind and, ask yourself honestly whether something like that will work for you. You shouldn’t panic, take your time, test yourself and then decide how to do it.
You should try each day
I think I have already shared this in one of the previous posts that I have been shy and introvert by nature since my childhood though I have always tried to change myself. Like a lot of other people, I had some bad habits like nail biting. I never used paint my nails during my entire teenage. I admired other girls’ long and beautiful well-shaped nails but always failed to stop biting my nails. I tried many times but nothing happened. One day, I noticed my 3 three years old son biting his nails. When I saw this, I was astonished to see that this habit was taking over my son now, so from that day I took a pledge to get rid of this habit anyhow and I tried every possible way to do it for the sake of my son.
There are different ways to test yourself. Some are which I have tried myself, I’m mentioning here.
Take some deep breaths in a day
I found it really useful. I Inhale for 4-5 seconds, hold for 2-3, exhale for another 4-5 seconds. I do it 3 times a day first, in the morning, no fixed time whenever I wake up. Second in the evening and finally before going to bed. This really helps to reduce stress, which is the enemy of longer-term thinking and positivity and pulls you back to the present.
Reading books or articles
we can read books which we like the most. I usually prefer thriller type books as they really keep me on the edge. These days, I’m also concentrating on romantic non-fiction books. Such books bring positive vibes to my mind and are motivational. I will refer you to read suspense, romance, adventure books or actually whatever genre you like!
Creating new things
we can improve our skills by creating new things. It has to be something you enjoy doing. It could be writing, painting, singing, composing music. Don’t think too much about what you can get out from this. I had no knowledge about makeup when I first entered the blogging world. Applying lipstick and eyeliner is the only thing I used to do at that time. The reason was that I hardly did makeup in my real life. Gradually, I learned about makeup and the products which are used in this skill. I read articles, watched videos and practised. It worked. We can create anything we want to because these things will enhance our inner qualities as we will get to know about our hidden talent. So creating new things is one of the ways by which we can improve ourselves. Opt to master the skills by putting in work every day.
Talk to different people
Talking with different kinds of persons get to know it’s not only you who have problems in your life. You can talk to your family, relatives, kids, successful people even your household help. By doing this you get to realize there are a lot of problems in other people’s lives and also how they face their problems successfully each day.
Keep control of your emotions
If you are a sensitive person like me, this is the biggest problem of your life. I know that something in human nature can’t be changed but can be controlled with time. I admit that I’m an emotional person and often find myself weak in some situations but I have worked really hard to control it. It’s very important because there arise some situations where we need to have our peace of mind but due to the struggling emotions we lose our wisdom of thinking.
After the end of each day, reflect your day, what have you done good and what have you not. What have you learned today? Ask yourself and then if you have done most of the thing well, don’t forget to appreciate yourself. Believe me, it really works.
I’m learning and learning. I still keep trying to improve myself in every way I find so that I can bring out my best in front of myself. As I already said that no limit can be named as the limit so I want to urge my readers that if you want to make yourself better find the best thing in yourself and enhance it so that you can judge yourself that you are getting better. Keep improving so that one day other people can look up to you.
Coming to outfit:
Let’s talk about my outfit! I thought it had been quite a while since I last wore stripes, so I ordered this top along with a bunch of other tees, last month. It’s a beautiful casual top with quarter sleeves that flare at the end….so much in vogue these days these sleeves. I paired it with classic distressed jeans and slipped into my new pair of flats to complete the look. These sandals have gorgeous blush pink velvet straps. They are so comfortable, I’m almost living in them these days! So that’s everything about my casual go-to outfit, hope you like it.
