Things To Do When You Are Not Feeling Well
The months of August and September have always been incompatible with me. The sudden fluctuations in temperature always seems to affect my health. Almost the entire past week, I’ve been resting due to flu. Nothing serious but when you’re not in the pink of your health, you don’t feel like doing anything, isn’t it? I always think about what people do when they are ill or not healthy. I guess I have written something similar earlier as well but I thought maybe these days is a suitable time to share my thoughts on how you can relieve yourself a little when feeling bored and dull of illness.

Get yourself healthy beverages

If you are ill or not feeling well a glass of juice is really good as it will energise you to the fullest. I will recommend a glass of real orange juice as it totally makes my day up. I also like to indulge in a cup of hot tea or strong coffee occasionally. Keeps those unwanted headaches away for a while at least.

 Hot fragrant bath

If you are totally dull and are not in mood to do anything then you should just go to the bathroom, fill your bathtub with some hot water and essence of some soothing aroma salts, it will just make you feel so much more relaxed and fresh.

Doing some exercise or yoga

doing some exercise will always keep you fit and healthy as it will relax your muscles and keep them flexible. Continuous bed rest isn’t your best friend,trust me. I like to spare an hour or so for some yoga and meditation even when I’m not feeling well.

Reading books and novels

When getting bored while you are not well reading interesting books and novels will give a boost up to your health and will also keep you safe from being gloomy. You can read books of different genres like fiction, fantasy,action, horror etc. I usually prefer books by Sidney Sheldon and Jeffery Archer as they are thrilling and play with my imagination!

 Eating healthy food

Eating yummy and healthy food will keep your mind and stomach well and you won’t even have to compromise with your taste buds. Eating such food which doesn’t do any harm to your health is always a good idea. I usually eat green spiced up boiled Vegetables as they are not harmful to health and keeps my stomach in good condition.

So these are the ways we can prefer to stay healthy and feel refreshed when not feeling well. Everyone has their own ways; I prefer these as they suit me best. Let me know about your ideas!

The rainy season makes it hard for a decent outdoor shoot. But we managed to get a few pictures in a very casual outfit. I wore a printed tee with a casual pair of pants.
