I have seen people getting judged by their appearances, not by their heart or by their deeds. Why is that so?
First impressions are usually based on how someone looks, and people often comment on the appearances of others. If someone is fat they would say that this person is lazy, if someone is short others won’t hesitate in pointing that out. There have been incidents when people are discriminated based on their body appearance. Most of the time people don’t even know the people they are commenting on. In fact, I guess all of us are guilty of such a behavior every now and then.
When it comes to things like body shape or condition of one’s skin, it is easy for people to say that they “aren’t trying to fix anything.” In reality, we have no idea what they are doing or going through. The overweight person may be going to the gym everyday for work out. The person who is underweight may be trying to build muscle mass. The person with bad acne might be trying out different types of prescription medicine in order to see what works.
In schools and colleges, it is seen that the girls or boys who are thin are not considered cool because of their appearance. Body shaming has become a trend in our lives. Now it has become normal as the world doesn’t see how good a person is from inside they just judge them from outside without knowing about their nature or capabilities. People should be given chances to express themselves up so as to create an image of themselves without others opinions. How someone looks on the outside doesn’t determine their worth; it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Next time you hear others mocking the way someone looks, don’t encourage it or laugh. It’s time we start assessing people based on their kindness, their generosity, and their character and put an end to judging based on their body shape or faces.
Coming to my outfit:
In today’s post, I would like to introduce you to a lovely fashion brand- Sloppins. They have a great collection of designer dresses which everyone can get customized according to their individual sizes. So you don’t have to depend on the conventional measurements. I tried this beautiful floral midi dress with cold shoulders. I paired this with my white sneakers and pinkish white bag. Absolutely fell in love with the shape and fit of this. I think it’s a great choice for fall and I can already picture myself wearing it with a biker jacket and black boots for a more evening look. I highly recommend you to check out Sloppins. What do you think?
