Spring is unarguably everyone’s favorite season. I have always adored this time of the year but this year it has become all the more special to me. Since last year, I have started taking a lot of interest in gardening. I’ve said so in many of my previous posts that it is really important for us to adopt a healthy hobby which makes us feel happy. Since last year I’ve invested a lot of time in gardening and renovating my garden.
And now that spring is here, the efforts seem to have paid off. My entire garden is blooming with colorful flowers. A pleasing scent lingers in the air and the continuous buzzing and chirping just makes my day! Being someone who loves flowers and plants, I couldn’t miss the biggest spring extravaganza in my city- the Annual Spring Festival held every year in March.

This flower exhibition is like a paradise for flower lovers! This event aims to showcase the flora of the state and promote floricultural activities through various means. Uttarakhand is very rich in flora (no wonder the Valley of Flowers lies in this state) so it’s not surprising to see more than a 100 varieties of flowers on display in this festival. There’s music, cultural activities and lots to make you awestruck. I paid a visit to the festival last weekend with my family and it was really fun. Got to know about a number of new flower varieties that I’m eyeing to grow in my garden as well. Let’s hope I can find them!

Coming to my outfit:

For the Spring Festival, I wore a white blouse with blue jeans and layered it with a new olive green coat. This is a very simple and classic coat that you can wear with any outfit. The white knitted sweater is also a new buy and I love the choker neck detail of it. Put on my trusted white sneakers to complete the look and enjoy the marvels of spring!

I’m wearing:
Coat – Amiclubwear
Sweater – Bossini
Jeans – H&M
Scarf – Max Fashion
Bag – Kate Spade
Sunglasses – Idee

I see you really enjoy spring and your look is so wonderful relaxed!

I love to visit spring festivals too. This one looks like a great place to visit. The floral displays are so lovely. I really like your outfit as well. That olive green coat is so pretty and it looks great with jeans and white top. Your sunnies are lovely as well, and they match the black bag nicely.
I think it’s great you took up gardening. It’s such a great hobby, both useful and rewarding. I love flowers too and sometimes I make my own floral arrangements and bouquets.

Thank you Paola, I really enjoyed that day.
I wanted to thank you for putting my son on your prayer list. I appreciate that so much. He’s healing now and doing better. Your Spring flowers are a sight for sore eyes. I enjoyed all the photos. Your white tennis shoes are so cute and perfect for a casual look at the Spring festival. It sounds like you had a fun day. I noticed the Carnations right away, cause they are one of my favorite flowers. They last a long time, and have such a pretty scent.
Enjoy these Spring days.

I confess it’s one of the weather stations I love 🙂
The photos turned out to be very cheerful with the flowers.
