I hope you all would have been enjoying the holidays and the festivities. I have been extremely busy for 2-3 months in the renovation of my house. That’s the reason for my long absence, the other reason is, of course, this freezing weather. As the work has finished, I’m busy, setting up rooms and the garden as well. This renovation took a long time and we all got tired. I was thinking of visiting a salon to pamper myself especially my skin and hair then only I got an invitation from Lakme Salon to avail a few services of my choice I decided to accept it. I booked an appointment for two services there, first, a relaxing facial that I desperately needed and the second a hair spa.
I selected the salon branch that was quite near to my home, it was my first visit to this salon.
The receptionist warmly welcomed me and helped me in selecting the facial according to my skin’s requirements. The hair specialist recommended me to go to a hair spa which was beneficial in making hair strong and smooth.
The salon was quite crowded due to festivals and holidays. There wasn’t any decoration or anything but my requirement was not the decore or other things but the services for which I had visited the salon. Read on to find out my experience with the services I took.
Relaxing Skin Tightening Youth Facial at Lakme Salon
The interior of the facial room was neat and clean. The facial expert Sania was so friendly and warm natured. Before starting the facial, she explained all about the facial and its procedure she was going to do on my skin.
After confirming my comfort, she started the facial in a relaxing dim light and soothing music.
She was doing all steps expertly with very gentle and light hands. She has been checking my comfort again and again. The cleansing, scrubbing and massaging with wonderful aqua pressure, everything was soothing and extremely relaxing. After more than one hour, she removed the thermoherb mask and finished the facial by applying sunblock lotion on my face and neck. The experience was great, I felt relaxed and pampered. All tiredness and exhaustion had gone and my skin felt rejuvenated and plump.
I thanked Sania for that wonderful experience. I will recommend you if you are living in Dehradun, enjoy a facial with Sania’s gentle massage.
This facial treatment costs INR 3500 at the Lakme Salon.
Hair Spa at Lakme Salon
Now the time was to give some treatment to my hair. I had some issues like dryness, dandruff and hair fall so they suggested me to a hair spa with hair fall treatment. A good hair spa not only soothes our mind but gives strength to our hair roots, nourishes hair and makes them soft and silky.
The spa therapy was wonderful. All the procedure of the treatment was awesome, soothing and refreshing. I was feeling so relaxed and ease. Once the treatment was over, it was a great pleasure to touch my silky and smooth hair.
I have decided to take 2-3 more spas to get more benefits from this treatment. After finishing the spa, they applied an anti-hair falling serum on the scalp of my hair and it was done. My hair felt smooth and nourished.
The effect was so impressive, I wanted to see its lasting effect and I was surprised to see that it lasted for about the entire week. I am really satisfied with the result.
This Hair Spa treatment costs INR 1300 at the Lakme Salon
No need to say that it was a great experience. I loved the result of both facial and hair spa. The staff was good in nature and perfect in their jobs but there are some cons which I felt it necessary to mention here. The salon was not spacious and the services are a bit pricey. When it is overcrowded it feels crammed up. They use all Lakme products mostly which are not as costly as the services they charge for. If I compare the costs with some high ends salons, I don’t get much difference in it. Anyways, I will recommend to those who don’t mind these factors.
