Hey guys,

I hope you all are doing good and are safe at your place. Summer has arrived and we are glad to have such pleasant weather here in my city. I’m sure you have already set your summer wardrobe. Or are you still wondering what to buy for the scorching heat? First things first, nothing beats the summer heat better than a nice cotton kurta set. So, it’s time to add some lovely kurta sets to your wardrobe!

No matter how many kurta sets you have in your wardrobe, it just doesn’t feel enough when it comes to summers.

I have added some linen and cotton suits this year, even though we’re still not going out, I just wanted to add some new pieces to wear at home. Keeping in mind the comfort and style factor, I love to go for breezy, lightweight fabrics when it comes to summer clothes.

Summer in India isn’t the most pleasant experience, to be honest – and no matter how much you prepare yourself, it still isn’t enough – the soaring temperature, the hot air, the stickiness, pretty much everything is unbearable, and you don’t want to add dressing woes to your list.

Just because it’s summer, it doesn’t mean that you need to ditch kurtas. For me ‘kurta’ is a summer staple and is a true spirit of my culture – however, to get the best of the summer, you just need to pick up the right kurta set. This year pants and palazzo bottoms are very much in trend and these are really comfy and stylish.

In today’s outfit, I am wearing this beautiful black kurta and pants with some lovely floral prints. The asymmetric kurta, the colour combination, the prints and the contrast colour dupatta all have made this set really awesome. I love how it comes with a dark kurta and pants along with a beautiful light green dupatta. I accessorized it with a lovely pair of black heels and a quilted black bag because they look so elegant and timeless.
