Daughter Earth Succulent Gel Moisturiser & Blue Light Mist Review

Hey guys,

I hope you are doing great. I have used so many Indian brands and found many of them impressive but some of them have become close to my heart. Daughter Earth is one of them. I have used lots of products from this brand and always found them effective. Today I’m here with two new products from Daughter Earth. I’m talking about their newly launched Succulent Gel Moisturiser and Blue Light MistHumidity, too much or too little, both can be unkind to your skin. Whether you have an underlying skin condition or not, constant exposure to humidity can wreak havoc. All you need to do is, maintain a fine balance in order to protect your skin.
So far, I have used many products from Daughter Earth. I really liked their winter skincare products, you must have watched my video on YouTube regarding their products last winter if not, you definitely should!

Packaging

Daughter Earth Succulent Gel Moisturiser comes in such a beautiful outer box, love the pastel colours of this box. Daughter Earth always do the best packaging. Inside, there is a transparent glass jar with a silver twist to open the cap. The jar has a pretty floral design printed on it. The best part of their packaging that I like is that they don’t use unnecessary plastic in their packaging. Though the jar is made of glass, it’s not bulky or heavy. You can travel with it because it’s sturdy too. When you open the cap, there’s another lid for more protection of the product.

Daughter Earth Kombucha Essence + Plant Stem Cells Succulent Gel Moisturiser has some impressive ingredients such as Hemp Seed Oil, Wild Sea Berry super concentrates, and Hyaluronic Acid. Kombucha essence helps to tone the skin while wild sea berries are great to provide nourishment to it.

Performance

It is a soft gel that gives instant hydration and gets absorbed quickly. It just seeps into your skin without making you oily as it has an oil-free formula. You can watch my video HERE on gel moisturizers where I have talked about the importance of gel moisturizers.

The hydration is real! It is so hydrating that even dry skin types can use this. On my combination-to-dry skin, it keeps my skin hydrated for the entire day. I even use this as a part of my nighttime skincare routine, and it keeps me hydrated the whole night.

My skin feels much smoother, nourished than before.  It makes skin smooth from the inside that’s why it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. I didn’t see any effect on my freckles but I will give it some more time.

Performance

The mist is super fine and feels so soothing and healing on the skin. It delivers an instant hit of hydration and moisturises any dry areas, so it is ideal to include as part of your skin regime after cleansing, and also to refresh, calm and add glow to your skin throughout the day. The blue light rescue property is amazing because the amount of screen time we are exposed to is insane & we should definitely have something to protect our skin against radiation. One of them is obviously sunscreen but this is something we can spritz anytime throughout the day. I am obsessed with this stuff already.

It’s true that humidity can really do a number on our skin. Good to know that this range worked well for you and the products live up to their claims. The ingredients sound great too. I really like the sound of that Blue Light Mist.
